What We're Looking For
The Baylor University Department of Student Activities is hiring for an Assistant Director of Student Productions. The Assistant Director supports all major on-campus programs with a production element. This includes After Dark (Family Weekend), Pigskin Revue (Homecoming), All-University Sing, and Stompfest.
A Master's degree and three years of relevant work experience are required. A Master's degree and five years of relevant experience are preferred.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
This person must exhibit an appreciation for, a sensitivity to and respect for a diverse academic environment; inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of many social, economic, cultural, ideological, racial and ethnic backgrounds.
What You Will Do
- Manage all student productions within the Department of Student Activities as noted above.
- Advise Student Productions Committee (StuPro) as the primary program board for productions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with Waco Hall (performance venue), School of Music, and student organizations for all student productions.
- Support Baylor Line Camp Sing and campus programs team during major campus events (Christmas on 5th, Big Event, etc.).
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
- Ability to comply with University policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
